GK Update 11 June 2015

1. Union Cabinet today approved the Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal Motor Vehicle Agreement similar to SAARC Motor Vehicle Agreement which will regulate vehicular traffic of passenger, personal and cargo in the BBIN nations.
2. Dr. Srivari Chandrasekhar has been appointed as the Director of CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology. He was appointed by Prime Minister of India.

3. India's indigenous aircraft carrier INS Vikrant was undocked at Cochin where it will undergo several fitness processes.
4. 26 African countries have signed a historic The Tripartite Free Trade Agreement to create the largest free trade zone ranging from South Africa to Egypt. It will stimulate goods worth $1 Trillion and remove trade barriers on most goods.
5. Due to trade gap, CAD has shrunk to 0.2% of GDP or $1.3 billion. 
6. MS Dhoni is the lone Indian athlete in the Richest Athlete by Forbes magazine. This is topped by Floyd Mayweather wit $300 million. Dhoni has total earning of $31 million including $27 million from advertisements.
7. Anil Ambani led Reliance Capital has named Gopkumar as the CEO of broking, distribution business.
